SEPANG,  13 OCTOBER 2025 – Teleport, the logistics arm of Capital A, and Ground Team Red (GTR), AirAsia’s ground handling service provider, jointly pledged today to uphold integrity and reject any form of corrupt conduct across their air logistics operations. This commitment was made at an Anti-Corruption Awareness Programme and Corruption-Free Pledge Ceremony co-organised with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Putrajaya.

MACC officer SAC Tuan Westmoreland Anak Ajom delivered a keynote anti-corruption talk, stating “This programme is important as it educates individuals and organisations on the consequences of corruption, promotes a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour, and highlights the critical role of inter-agency collaboration in battling corruption. The session covers the types of corruption, red flags, local and international laws, corporate liability, internal policies, reporting mechanisms and whistle-blower protection.”

A moderated dialogue then followed with MACC officer SAC Tuan Westmoreland Anak Ajom, Teleport CEO Pete Chareonwongsak and GTR CEO Musdalifa bin Abdullah. “The dialogue empowers individuals to mitigate risk, promote integrity, deter corruption and ensure compliance,” added Tuan Westmoreland.

“At Teleport, integrity drives the decisions we make, even when no one is watching. While we push to provide faster, cheaper, and better service every day, we anchor our operations in transparency, integrity, and accountability. Our three-year Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP), aligned with the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP), ensures these principles are embedded across our regional operations. We hold our employees to these values by ensuring we achieve 100% anti-bribery attestation among our employees annually, supported by continuous regional programmes that strengthen our culture of integrity,” says Pete Chareonwongsak, CEO of Teleport

“Integrity is the foundation of safety and trust in our line of work. At GTR, we manage thousands of ground movements daily, and every action must reflect accountability. Our commitment goes beyond compliance — it’s about building a culture where doing the right thing becomes instinctive for every employee. Supported by the strong governance frameworks of both AirAsia Berhad and SATS, we are strengthening internal controls, awareness, and reporting mechanisms to ensure integrity is practiced across all our stations nationwide,” said Musdalifa bin Abdullah, CEO of Ground Team Red (GTR).

The event concluded with the signing of the Corruption-Free Pledge by both CEOs, witnessed by senior MACC officers and the leadership teams of both organisations. The pledge formalises Teleport and GTR’s dedication to contributing to a corruption-free ecosystem, which is essential for the safe and reliable movement of goods that supports Malaysia’s growing trade and eCommerce sectors.
