When AirAsia’s passenger network left much of its belly space underutilised, Teleport saw both a challenge and an opportunity.
Teleport transformed this underused space into Southeast Asia’s largest air logistics network.
Today, it powers fast, reliable cross-border delivery and serves as the blueprint for airline partnerships worldwide.
As eCommerce demand surged, Teleport needed more capacity than AirAsia’s network alone could provide.
By partnering with WW (MJets Air), we unlocked additional routes and tonnage.
Cargo volumes doubled from 250–300 tons to nearly 600 tons per week in just six months.
To strengthen regional connectivity, Teleport deployed its first A321F freighter — Awan — on a key route from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, supported by Etihad Cargo.
From seamless ground handling in Saigon to onward connections via Kuala Lumpur into the Middle East, this operation showcased how partnerships extend the reach of The Teleport Network.

Teleport Air Partners is a partnership model that has scaled to over 50+ Air Partners, offering airlines, freight forwarders and logistics providers access to Teleport’s extensive network, sales expertise, and operational capabilities.

Teleport is the logistics venture of Capital A Berhad, focused on air logistics and delivery services. While AirAsia focuses on passenger travel, Teleport manages and optimises cargo space across AirAsia’s fleet, ensuring efficient use of belly space for logistics. Additionally, Teleport partners with other airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers beyond AirAsia to expand the Teleport Network.

We partner with various entities that either operate or manage air cargo capacity including: (1) passenger or cargo airlines, (2) aircraft or freighter operators, (3) charter brokers, and (4) freight forwarders. Dangerous goods and special cargo are handled in compliance with IATA regulations and Teleport’s air partners’ policies. Ensure proper documentation and labeling before shipment, and consult the operations team for guidance.

Teleport can issue its own AWB or use the partner’s AWB, depending on the specific arrangement.

Tracking is available in real time via SmartKargo, an all-in-one digital system for cargo management that provides a seamless end-to-end tracking experience.
